Theater Casting Call for "Well Behaved Women" Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Theater is back with "Well Behaved Women" Part Four premiering this summer at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival. Seeking female and female identifying actors with a focus on BIPOC actors. Please, see the details below. About the play: "Well Behaved Women" is a bold, high-energy sketch comedy that skewers politics, patriarchy, and the absurdity of modern life. Smart, satirical, and unapologetically sharp, this show delivers rapid-fire laughs while taking aim at the systems that expect women to stay quiet. Unruly, unfiltered, and wildly entertaining—because well-behaved women don’t make history… but they do make damn good comedy. Rate: Paid. Additional information: Please prepare a comedic monologue 1-2 minutes in length as well as prepare a fun/unique/quirky “special talent” and be prepared to do a cold read. When applying, please submit a self tape with the subject line: "ATTENTION – WBW – AUDITION". A time slot and the location will be emailed to you upon confirmation.
