Theatre Casting Call for "Queer and Questioning"

About the project: A variety show that celebrates and amplifies diverse voices and experiences within the LGBTQIA+ community. Through poetry, dance, song, or theatrical scenes, performers will share stories that reflect pride, resilience, and authenticity. Participants may perform pieces that connect to their own lived experiences or honor and represent the stories of others within the queer community. Additional info: Auditions: April 12 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Please arrive prior to the start time. Location: 280 Keawe St., Hilo. Performance dates: June 12–14, 2026. Bring 16 bars (about 1 minute) of a song to sing in any style. Please have a backing track readily available at the time of auditions. Wear comfortable clothes to move in. Headshots and resumes are encouraged but not required. Audition forms will be provided and collected from all auditionees. If you have a special talent to share, you can submit one minute of your talent via video prior to auditions or show it in person at the end of auditions. If interested, please apply.
