About the project: A cross between Spring Awakening and Midsommar, The Turning is a new folk musical thriller about two best friends in search of healing who go to a California desert-based wellness retreat, which ultimately reveals itself to be something else entirely. (soprano) The mysterious leader of Oasis. She – and the members of Oasis – believe she has evolved the ability to heal people’s trauma. Incredibly charming, incredibly confident - almost feels like she can stare right into your soul. It feels like she knows you the moment you meet her and makes you want her approval more than anything.
The ensemble defines the world and portrays a range of characters throughout the musical. Every ensemble track will be featured in some way. Most will understudy principal roles. All must be strong pop singers. Looking for ensemble members that both move well and some that are strong dancers.
