About the project: Experience the heart and soul of the American frontier in this timeless Rodgers & Hammerstein classic! Set in the early 1900s, Oklahoma! tells the story of love, rivalry, and community in a small Oklahoma territory town. With unforgettable songs like “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’” and “The Surrey with the Fringe on Top,” sweeping choreography, and a story full of romance and humor, this musical is a joyous celebration of life, love, and the pioneering spirit. Additional info: Please bring a headshot/recent picture and resume, if you have them available (a simple small, recent picture printed on regular paper with your resume is perfect). Prepare approximately 30 seconds of any song you're comfortable singing acapella in the style of the show. Be prepared to sing in parts and read sides at the audition as well.
