About the play: In a magical Sanctuary where cats prepare for their missions on Earth, Lucky — a senior black cat who has just passed away — returns heartbroken and unsure if he’s ready to share the story of his life with his humans. His speech is essential: without it, the kittens can’t be adopted, and the senior cats can’t move on to the Upper Heaven. As Lucky struggles with grief, guilt, and stage fright, the kittens and fellow seniors help him rediscover the love, purpose, and joy he brought to his family. Through humour, tenderness, and a few chaotic zoomies, Lucky learns that his mission was more meaningful than he ever realized. Rate: Non union.
