About the project: TIRED. is a female rage short film about a woman named Tori taking a late night drive to one of her favorite places, the gas station right around her house. She goes there all the time; no one bothers her. For the first time ever, the slushy machine is broken. And not for the first time, there’s one man in there that seems to think that a woman should be nice and take a compliment. He quickly learns she’s not to be messed with after not getting her nightly drink. A night owl with a knack for late night drives. A loner with a few friends, Tori tends to appreciate being left to her own devices, whether it’s inside or outside of her house. She can always be spotted sporting her golden hoop earrings and her curly hair styled.
A music lover with an ego. Dontae is a artsy guy with a good fashion sense that boosts his confidence. His cockiness covers up his insecurity, which makes him say things he shouldn’t. He can always be seen wearing his vintage headphones either on his head or around his neck with music blasting out of them.
The gas station’s only midnight shift worker. Generally doesn’t care about his job but has become acquainted with Tori and her fixation with slushies.
