About the project: SYNOPSIS: The songs of the pop group Abba provide the score for this romantic comedy that contrasts the dreams and desires of a young woman about to become a bride with those of her mother, a free spirit of the 70s who never married. Mamma Mia! takes place at a taverna on a Greek island. The cast should be quirky and offbeat; we are not seeking obvious musical theater performers. Actors who sing with a strong rock sound and move well work best in this show. Rate: Touring Agreement $1077 weekly minimum (Level 5) Additional info: Audition: Dancers: Monday, March 30, 2026 -10:00 AM (E) and 2:30 PM (E). Singers: Tuesday, March 31, 2026 - 10:00 AM (E) and 2:30 PM (E). Lunch 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM. PREPARATION: Dancers: Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and sneakers or another comfortable flat dance shoe. Bring a hardcopy headshot and resume. Singers: Prepare 16-bars of a contemporary pop song. Please no musical theatre. Bring a hardcopy headshot and resume and sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.
