About the project: A visceral slasher film that delivers unrelenting horror in the tradition of classic genre films. Three drunk friends take a Halloween shortcut through a pedestrian tunnel, only to discover the local murder legend is real and escape from a masked clown killer is impossible. Rate: Non-Union. Selected performers may be invited to submit a self-tape audition or attend an in-person audition depending on scheduling. All applicants MUST be available for the scheduled shoot dates.

Jax is the loudest guy in the room and thrives on attention. Cocky, charismatic, and a little reckless, he carries himself like someone who thinks nothing bad can ever happen to him. On Halloween night, he’s drunk, energetic, and eager to impress — especially when trying to flirt with Maya and convince her to ditch their friend Leo. Jax has an effortless party-guy charm but also a pushy edge that shows when he’s had too much to drink.
Maya is sharp, confident, and a little punk around the edges. She’s quick-witted and sarcastic, often acting as the voice of reason among her friends. She has a playful sense of humor but isn’t easily impressed, especially by Jax’s drunken antics. Underneath the attitude, Maya is perceptive and cautious — the first to sense when something feels wrong. Her strength lies in her independence and no-nonsense personality.
Leo is the awkward third wheel of the friend group — a little socially clumsy, a bit of a try-hard, but ultimately good-natured. He often trails behind Jax and Maya, trying to keep up with their energy while knowing he doesn’t quite fit their dynamic. Leo loves telling stories and exaggerating urban legends, especially when he has an audience. His attempts to be entertaining or spooky sometimes come across as goofy or over-the-top.
A young social media influencer out for a late-night Halloween run, livestreaming her workout to followers. She’s energetic, upbeat, and a little distracted by interacting with her audience while jogging. Dressed in a stylish running outfit with large headphones and her phone held out in livestream mode, she narrates her run in a playful, influencer-style tone. Her personality is friendly, bubbly, and slightly performative — someone used to being on camera.
