Performers needed for the "Amour" show. See the breakdown below. About the project: A charming musical about a meek clerk who finds one day that he can walk through walls, and the humor, adventure, and romance that discovery unlocks! The ensemble of nine will play multiple roles throughout. It is a vocally demanding and lush score (sung-through). Rate: Non-paid. Performers will be contracted and receive a stipend. Additional info: This is a NON-AEA production. In-Person Auditions: March 5 & 6, 6:00 PM Callbacks: March 10 Rehearsals & Performance Schedule: Start April 6 (Monday-Thursday most weeks) Tech May 16 &18-20 Performances May 21-24 Location: TheatreLab Dayton, 116 N Jefferson St, Dayton Video Submissions: Accepted through 12:00 PM (noon) on Saturday, March 7 Please prepare 32 bars (approximately 1 minute) of a song in the style of the show (musical theatre songs or a song by Michel Legrand that you can act). Sheet music is required for in-person auditions (an accompanist will be provided). Be prepared to read from sides; some movement will be included at callbacks. If interested, please apply.
