About the project: "(Pray)" is a kinetic and vibrant choreopoem inspired by the energy, rhythm, and emotional release of a Sunday Baptist church service. This powerful theatrical work celebrates and confronts the complexity of spiritual inheritance, using movement, voice, breath, and bold presence. The piece channels the vitality of communal worship and sacred expression, transforming it into a dynamic theatrical experience. Through choreography, spoken word, and music, the piece explores faith, identity, and the legacy of spirituality across generations. Rate: $1,144 per week. AEA benefits included.
