The house he finds is drastically changed from what he remembers, and inside, he encounters his father, whose behavior is disturbingly off. He left his family home at the age of seventeen and later built a successful career as a high-performing sales executive in the city. Highly intelligent, he has a strong preference for logic and rational thinking. Conversely, he tends to feel a deep aversion toward things he cannot understand or explain.
Ethan’s younger brother. He has a mild cognitive impairment, and he has struggled with it for a long time. He possesses a pure heart and loves his family more deeply than anything else. Honest and straightforward by nature, once he believes something is right, he will see it through to the very end.
The father of Ethan and Alex. He was once a kind-hearted man, but due to extreme stress, he has a tendency to shift responsibility onto others—a habit that causes him great inner conflict. Since his wife left home, he has turned to alcohol as a means of escaping his stress.
