Talents Needed for Short Film - "Open Tab"

A college-aged girl works as a bartender at a family-owned bar. She has greater aspirations, but is held back due to pressure to stay within the family business. This conflict evolves into an eventual identity crisis, leading her to abandon the bar and attempt to discover who she truly is. Very confident but has multiple doubts about herself.

A mysterious older woman who comes into the bar and makes Aislinn realize the life she’s living isn’t for her. She exudes the confidence that Aislinn needs to go out and face the world.

Jacob is a self absorbed air-head who can't read the room. He is a stereotypical character who acts as a bit of comic relief. He tries to flirt with Aislinn, but only ends up embarrassing himself to no end.

Aislinn's lifelong friend who is very supportive and is also trying to help her.

Is worried about Aislinn leaving, doesn’t want them to fail, but is more lenient than the father, but also doesn't want to go against her husband and hurt the family business.

Aislinn’s father, who inherited the family business from his father, has spent his whole life working there. Is content with his life and career and wants the same for his kid.
