Auditions for Musical "Erased"
Actors, singers, and dancers of all experience levels are needed for the "Erased" play. See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: Rates vary by role and can range from $500 to $2,000. Additional info: What to Prepare: • Monologue (1 minute): Prepare a one-minute monologue. Material may be from a published play, film, or television script. Monologues should be age-appropriate, emotionally grounded, and reflect your natural casting type. Memorization is required. • Vocal Audition (16 bars): Prepare 16 bars (approximately 30–45 seconds) of a song that best showcases your vocal range, tone, and storytelling ability. Musical theatre selections are preferred; jazz, blues, or gospel-influenced pieces are also welcome, given the style of the show. Please bring sheet music in the correct key if a pianist is provided, or a clearly labeled instrumental track if using a backing track. • Dance Call: All auditioning performers should prepare a brief dance audition (approximately 30–60 seconds) that highlights their movement ability, musicality, and performance style. Please bring your own music. Choreography may be in any style that best showcases your strengths; however, jazz, swing, and musical theatre movement are strongly encouraged, given the style of the production.
