Lead. Sue is a widow of retirement age. she is trying to push herself to not settle for her life as it is and wants to try to start dating again. over the course of the film, she sees that her courage to be vulnerable with someone is the foundation for building a new meaningful connection.
Lead. Charles is a widower of retirement age. he is kind and attentive. however, he doesn't give himself space to grieve. in sue, charles find someone who understands his experiences and helps him feel his emotions. when everything fades away.
Mnor role. Wendy is Sue's daughter. Wendy is balancing the many responsibilities of middle age, raising a family of her own, she is trying to support her mother as she begins to start dating again.
