(LEAD) A grieving, determined young woman searching for answers about her brother’s death. Emotionally complex, vulnerable yet strong-willed, often hiding her pain through emotional numbness. Must be capable of intense dramatic performance (one major scene involving prolonged crying/weeping). Some physical/action scenes required.
(SUPPORTING) A quiet, socially awkward river guide hiding dark secrets. Becomes increasingly unsettling. Must be able to play subtle menace, internal conflict, and the sense of someone concealing something dangerous.
(LEAD) Local gas station worker / delivery driver with a rough past and a good heart. Protective, practical, emotionally grounded. Acts as Lucy’s only ally in town — almost a father-figure.
