(LEAD) A grieving, determined young woman searching for answers about her brother’s death. Emotionally complex, vulnerable yet strong-willed, often hiding her pain through emotional numbness. Must be capable of intense dramatic performance (one major scene involving prolonged crying/weeping). Some physical/action scenes required.
(SUPPORTING) A quiet, socially awkward river guide hiding dark secrets. Becomes increasingly unsettling. Must be able to play subtle menace, internal conflict, and the sense of someone concealing something dangerous.
(LEAD) Local gas station worker / delivery driver with a rough past and a good heart. Protective, practical, emotionally grounded. Acts as Lucy’s only ally in town — almost a father-figure.
(ANTAGONIST) An Appalachian, charismatic older woman who is secretly a cruel cult leader posing as a prophetess. Manipulative, calculating, intimidating, and tough. Physically demanding role including fight scenes and emotional intensity. (fight choreographer on set)
(SUPPORTING) Devout cult follower struggling with guilt and doubt. Emotionally fragile but capable of strength. Beneath the brainwashing, she is genuinely sweet. Heavy dramatic role.

(SUPPORTING) Small-town sheriff with a very vulgar personality, inflated ego, and selfish nature.
