Casting Equity actors for 2026-27 season show "Little Shop Of Horrors". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see more info below. Rate: Independent Theatre Contract $502 weekly minimum Additional info: PREPARATION: Please prepare one comic monologue and song in the style of Classic Broadway or Great American Songbook. No longer than two minutes in length total. An accompanist will be provided. Accompaniment tracks are welcome as well and a Bluetooth speaker will be provided. Video submissions are welcome. First Rehearsal: October 6, 2026 Performances: October 23 – November 8, 2026 An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition. Male Presenting, Bari-Tenor, An egotistical dentist with a passion for leather and sadistic tendencies. Audrey's abusive boyfriend, who is targeted by Seymour.
Male Presenting, Bari-Tenor, Puppet. An anthropomorphic cross between a Venus flytrap and an avocado, the plant has an appetite for human flesh that is appeased by Seymour. Puppeteer doubles as other sizes of the plant.
A vocalist located offstage. The voice is that of a conniving, streetsmart 'villain.' A funky Rhythm and Blues voice is best.
Female Presenting, Various Voice Types, Crystal, Ronnette and Chiffon are street urchins, acting as the occasional Greek Chorus. Young, hip, and smart, these girls are the only ones who have a grip on reality.
