About the show: Little Mermaid is an original Filipino musical adaptation inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s timeless tale. The story follows Jewel, a spirited young princess of the underwater kingdom of Aquatica, whose encounter with a prince from the world above challenges her understanding of love, freedom, and self-determination. Rate: Artists are to be paid honorariums. Additional information: Callbacks will take place on February 22, 2026, from 11:30 am to 6 pm at the same venue. Selected auditionees will be notified in advance. Please ensure availability on the following dates: Rehearsals: June 8 - July 17, Monday-Friday, 6-10 pm; Performances: Directors are doing a minimum of four (4) shows between July 18 to July 26, 2026. PRINCIPAL ROLE. A princess longing for a life beyond the palace walls. Firm and decisive, yet warm, sincere, and endearing. Vocal range: Soprano/Mezzo-soprano.
PRINCIPAL ROLE The kingdom’s head of music. Highly strung and often overtaken by nerves, but deeply caring, compassionate, and humorous. Vocal range: Baritone.
PRINCIPAL ROLE. The ruler of Aquatica. A father and king struggling to maintain order while carrying the weight of responsibility. Firm, stubborn, compassionate, and authoritative. Vocal range: Baritone with a strong upper register.
