Casting Leads for 1970s Neo-Noir Film Being Shown at the DSFP
Set in 1970s Cass Corridor. A once-Amish bride-to-be leaves her heavily traditional, conservative Amish fiancé at the altar. She sets to overcome an oppressive community but ends up in another. She seeks to forgive herself and find peace. This project is part of the Detroit Short Film Project and will be screened in late February 2026 along with 10 other successful Detroit directors' shorts as well. We will be doing crowdfunding for the project, of which all the funds raised will be going to cast and crew.
