About the musical: Kate, a high-powered over-achiever, is butting heads with her talented and moody daughter, Ruby, who is about to graduate high school and has her heart set on art college. Kate’s husband, John, an English professor who dreams of being a famous writer, is trying to keep the peace. Despite being on the verge of burnout, Kate decides to organize her high school reunion. Meanwhile, after years abroad, glamorous Lucy, John’s high school sweetheart, returns to town and offers to help with the reunion. What could possibly go wrong? The Perfect Time is a musical about grappling with when and how to be true to ourselves and follow our hearts, no matter what age. Is there any such thing as the perfect time? Additional information: Performance dates (2026) May 22, 23 and 24 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). May 29, 30 and 31 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Rehearsals will be held two (and occasionally three) times a week, beginning in late January. Not all cast members will be required at every rehearsal. Audition location: Ontario.
