Actors Needed for Movie Casting
Seeking actors for indie short film "Food + My Thoughts". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: SYNOPSIS: Jordan is going through an internal struggle of self image, as they fight with their inner self they come to realize their struggles are affecting more than just themselves. TRIGGER WARNING: This film revolves around the heavy topic of eating disorders. Rate: Unpaid, credit provided and food on set. Film festival submissions and distribution. Additional info: Non union. Offical dates for filming have not been determined as of now, until the full cast and crew are set, directors will adjust to everyone's schedules on the best days to film. The film will be shot in three days, but not in a row, again: they will accomodate to schedules. Directors are aiming to shoot March 1st - April 30th. When applying, please include headshot, resume, and a 90 second dramatic monologue.

(Trans, nonbinary, or male presenting preferred), has a lot of internal emotional turmoil, is a bit in denial about the issue of the eating disorder and self confidence, feels like they have no control over life.
A very disheveled and sickly version of Jordan, character is somewhat tough and confrontational, knows the underlying issues but wants Jordan to figure it out.
Outgoing, persistent, loving, caring, wants to understand Jordan, trying to figure out the problem, has a very big and open heart, character has a deep emotional monologue talking to her child.
