Lead, Adult, Vocal Range: Tenor, A4-EB3 Nick’s younger brother. A struggling writer who falls for Portia, writes from the heart. Role may include stage intimacy.
Lead, Adult, Vocal Range: Tenor, Ab4-Ab2 The Bard. Over the top with a huge ego/rock star mentality. The comic villain of our story. Tap ability is not required, but a plus.
Supporting, Adult, Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano, D5-D3 Nick’s wife. She loves Nick despite his past lack of success. Strong, grounded. Dresses as a man to prove that she can be an actor. Role may include stage intimacy.
Supporting, Adult, Vocal Range: Soprano, F#5-G3 A Puritan woman who secretly loves poetry, theater, and ultimately Nigel. Sweet and naive. Role may include stage intimacy.
