Colonel Kurtz, a member of the National Guard deployed overseas. He is being interviewed by an Army Inspector General. Colonel Kurtz has been accused of giving a member of his team a negative performance review as a way of punishing that team member for speaking up about misconduct the team member observed.
Captain Willard, who serves as a soldier in the Army National Guard that is deployed overseas. He is being interviewed by an Army Inspector General. Captain Willard believes his superior officers are mistreating him because he filed a complaint against a colleague. He feels he was wronged by his superior and is frustrated.
