A man finds his life unravelling after learning his dying father needs money for treatment. What ensues is him falling into the harrowing world of drug dealing with an Asian drug lord. The feel of the movie is 8 Mile and A24. Dark and gritty. Rate: UBCP/ACTRA or Equivalent. IMDB credit and a copy of the film. Food and crafty. Union actors will be covered by the Ultra Low Budget Short Film Insurance. Additional information: Audition Location Self-tape. Shoot/Performance Date(s) January 5-15. Shoot/Performance Location(s) Vancouver and Burnaby. Submission Deadline December 22, 2025. This is a low-budget union project, but will accept non-union actors too. The actors have worked on such projects as Mulan, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Fire Country and Sinner, to name a few. The team's goal is to get the film into festivals and create buzz to make this into a feature film. Looking for all body types and they welcome the heavier set looking guys too. Someone who looks like a cop once directors see them. SOC but will need to convey he is looking at someone suspiciously. Must be a confident driver and have a valid driver's licence.
