Casting talent for "Balls" Student Film, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: “Balls” is a coming-of-age/comedy that explores what it means to balance friendship, love, and soon-to-be memories. In the neon glow of a local bowling alley, five long-term college friends cling to their last summer together before life pulls them apart. They form a casual bowling league with weekly meets, promising to cherish the last summer they have together. Between french fry bets, claw machine victories, and bowling theatrics, their inside jokes deepen into something unforgettable. When one of the friends suddenly stops showing up, the group feels her absence deeply. Weeks later, Charlie's quiet return forces them to face what it means to hold on, and what it means to let go. Please apply if interested.
5 roles
Bowling aficionado. Dylan created the plans to go bowling each week, and he is ready to become the next best thing in the bowling world. He is silly, dumb, and above all else, a bowling prodigy. (he is mediocre at bowling)
Loves her friends more than anything. She is struggling to find her way after graduating. She doesn’t have a plan, but she shows up everyday to lose herself in the love of her friends. Besties with Olive
Silly goofy energy. Loves to have fun, is purely here for the vibes. She loves the arcade, or anything as long as her friends are there. Besties with Charlie
Major film nerd. Films everything unapologetically (but he does a good job, so it's warranted). Flynn is trying to capture the last moments of what he knows is such a dynamic, loving friend group. He is scared to let go, so he makes sure to record everything.
Self-deemed ‘mom’ of the group. She loves to take care of people. She makes sure everyone is comfortable. She makes group T-shirts to lift spirits. She’s great at pep talks
