LEAD ROLE A grizzled 1940s private investigator with a tough exterior masking deep fatigue. Chain-smoker, whiskey drinker, world-weary. Wry delivery, classic noir cadence. Must be able to perform physical struggle scenes (non-stunt level). Strong dramatic presence required.
LEAD ROLE Elegant, alluring, unpredictable. Appears emotionally fragile but harbors a dark, supernatural secret. Requires intense emotional range—from controlled sorrow to full-body transformation sequences. Actress must be comfortable portraying distress, physical contortions (non-stunt), and expressive facial work.
LEAD ROLE Dalia’s well-to-do brother. Intelligent, formal, polished. His role is brief but memorable; appears in early scenes being stalked and attacked in the woods. Comfortable performing fear/suspense acting and light physicality.
SUPPORTING ROLE Voiceover An eerie, whispering presence calling out to characters in the woods. Actor must provide a chilling, ethereal vocal performance. (This can also be cast as ADR.)
SUPPORTING ROLE Worn down by life, terse, observant. A brief but atmospheric scene partner for Jack in a smoky noir bar. Dry, understated delivery preferred.
SUPPORTING ROLE A local townsperson who briefly interacts with Jack during his investigation. Short scene. Must convey concern or indifference with subtle realism.
SUPPORTING ROLE Voiceover Jack’s police contact. Practical, no-nonsense, slightly gruff. Role is entirely over phone calls.
