$150/project
Description:

Actors wanted for "The Applicant" film. See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: A tense psychological film. You don't get to choose family or something like that. This film follows Jared, an ordinary guy who walks into what he thinks is a routine job interview, only to find himself sitting across from a trio of men who look less like hiring managers and more like executioners. As Jared tries to make sense of the situation, his nerves twist into paranoia, and paranoia blurs into full-blown delusion leaving him and the audience, stranded in that uneasy space where fear makes anything feel real. It's a darkly comic psychological descent about anxiety, identity, and the quiet panic that lives under every "Tell us about yourself." Rate: $150 for 2 days of filming; so a day/rate of $75. Additional info: See the attachment for details. When applying, please send name, phone, age, height, weight, city/state, + 2–3 photos in wardrobe (one colorful look, one neutral, full-body & waist-up).

THE DONBoth genders50-79 y.o.All ethnicities

(Supporting) Male presenting. Understated, controlled, and quietly terrifying. He doesn’t need to raise his voice, the room just listens. Presence over volume; menace through stillness. Calm, soft-spoken authority, the last person you want to cross. “Italian dialect.” $150 for 2 days

THE CONSIGLIEREBoth genders40-69 y.o.All ethnicities

(Supporting) Male-presenting. Smooth, articulate, and dryly funny in a way that may or may not be intentional. Ruthlessly pragmatic. The quiet accountant of violence. Rarely emotive; his job is to interpret the Don’s will and keep the family running. Some of the sharpest lines come from him because he never wastes words. “Italian dialect.” $150 for 2 days

LUCIABoth genders20-39 y.o.All ethnicities

(Supporting) Female-presenting. Sharp, confident, and observant. The Don’s daughter and the one person in the room who sees through the whole absurd performance. Carries a mix of mob royalty poise and sardonic wit. “Italian dialect” $150 for 2 days.

THE ENFORCERBoth genders30-59 y.o.All ethnicities

(Supporting) Male-presenting. Physically imposing, with the energy of a man who loves his job a little too much. Always a step too enthusiastic. Comedy comes from his unpredictability. Big smile, bigger threat. Enjoys watching people squirm but isn’t a cartoon thug, he’s professional, almost bureaucratic about violence. “Italian dialect” $150 for 2 days
