LEAD. Eric is an eccentric, sarcastic, and wildly passionate office worker whose ego-driven quest for recognition sends him spiraling when he suffers two heavy blows back-to-back: a denied promotion and a stolen donut. Though dramatic and a bit of a diva, he ultimately finds humility when forced to confront the fallout of his own behavior.
SUPPORTING. Maya is Eric's sharp, supportive work bestie-authentic, witty, and grounded, even while navigating (and mocking) corporate absurdity. She backs Eric wholeheartedly, but when his meltdown turns on her, her empathy and sincerity ultimately help maintain their friendship.
SUPPORTING. Jen is the cheerful receptionist who wanders into peak chaos with perfect, accidental timing-unaware a "crime" even occurred. While she's just doing her job and genuinely trying to be helpful, she unknowingly solves the mystery.
SUPPORTING. Jamie is a quiet, non-confrontational office worker who's furious to be accused simply because of her sweet tooth. She shuts Eric down with calm, razor-sharp efficiency, proving that loving sweet treats is not a crime.
SUPPORTING. Tom is a dramatic, dry-witted oddball with an awkward obsession with his ex-wife, and he becomes Eric's second suspect thanks to their petty, long-running feud over a broken mug. Their argument is wildly irrational, but Tom's alibi is rock-solid.
SUPPORTING. Lydia is the young, hyper-polished boss who embodies corporate culture a little too well; expertly pushing the company agenda while keeping everyone on edge. As the third accused, her behaviour is the most suspicious, and ultimately, the most complicated.
FEATURED BACKGROUND. Seeking 15-20 background actors to play office employees who's work is interrupted by escalating chaos as Eric launches a full-blown manhunt over his stolen donut. Fun opportunity to practice physical and reactive comedy. Unpaid roles. Credit & meals provided.
