Actors Required for Short Movie "The Adventurer’s Guild"
"The Adventurer’s Guild" short film needs actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: The Adventurer’s Guild — an absurdist fantasy short film about the workplace. Logline: When the innocence of Clara, a new hire, is threatened, Elise, an overworked guild veteran, finally steps up for what she believes in. Rate: Unpaid. Additional info: Actors of all experience levels are encouraged to audition. This is a non-union acting opportunity. In-person callbacks will take place after the New Year. Filming March 2026. Shooting will take place over two to three days. The short film covers themes of sexual harassment and prostitution. Appropriate care will be taken to ensure the actors’ comfort. Disclaimer: this short film will be entered into film festivals in and out of state. All actors must provide consent to public screenings of this short. When applying, please include your headshot, the role(s) you’re interested in, your resume, and either a 60-second monologue or your reel.

An elf. A broken-down service worker surrendered to a miserable life. Must be comfortable participating in scenes with implied nudity. Must be comfortable around prop weapons (no guns).
(To portray late teens). A cheery, naïve new hire in for a rude awakening.
An outwardly warm guild master with a heart of ice.
An accomplished, powerful adventurer with a large ego. Must be comfortable around prop weapons (no guns).
A secluded adventurer who spends more time with birds than people. Must be okay using a fake pipe.
