The main character, Jay, recently lost his brother and is unsure of how to cope with the grief. He ultimately finds that his old hobby, writing, is the perfect outlet. Rate: These roles are *unpaid*, but food and drinks will be supplied at every shoot. Additional info: Most of the shoots will be in the Beaver County area. Shooting will start roughly at the end of February or the beginning of March and will only take place on weekends Please apply if interested.

(Main)- A hardworking steel mill employee struggling to process the sudden loss of his brother. Stoic, quiet, deeply emotional beneath the surface. A devoted father and husband who holds everything in until it cracks. Actor must convey grief, restraint, and subtle internal turmoil.
(Supporting)- Jay’s wife. Warm, grounded, practical. She tries to hold the family together while watching her husband silently unravel. Must be able to play caring but firm, with emotional maturity and softness.
(Supporting)- Jay’s mother. Fragile yet strong. Grieving the loss of her son while holding onto old memories. Visibly weighed by decades of family history.
(Supporting)- June’s mother. Warm, emotional, family-driven.
(Supporting)- Jay’s childhood neighbor. Blunt, nostalgic, slightly humorous. Unintentionally asks painful questions that trigger Jay’s internal collapse. Needs strong delivery.
