Casting Male and Female Talent for VCU Healthcare Project
Seeking talent for VCU healthcare project. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. Rate: Session: $600/10 hours - add’l hours will be at OT rate of $100/hr. Usage buyout: $1250/1 year (year 2 +10%, year 3 +10% on year 2). Fitting fee: $250 per person. Less any applicable fees. Additional info: Non union. NOTE - Call backs are anticipated to be 12/15. Talent of interest will be notified of details and a Zoom session will be scheduled. January 8 - Fitting In person - Richmond VA. January 10 - 12 Filming (it is anticipated that each talent would be needed 1 day during this time frame but should be available all 3 days when applying). Usage: - Video Usage: 1 year regional Broadcast TV, CTV, Paid Social (Meta/YouTube/NextDoor), OLV - Photography Usage: 1 year regional OOH, Print, Display/Native, Paid Social When applying, please include 1 video file (consolidate all files / recordings together) and have your first and last name on the file. You should include which role you are auditioning for. For all videos, please slate with first and last name, role, and location. Auditions are due by 3 pm on Friday, December 5th via WeTransfer.

Athletic, liver transplant scar (note any latex allergies as this will be prosthetic). Must be comfortable with wearing bathing suit & swimming. Talent need to be in competitive swimming bathing suit for submission purposes. No tattoos or able to be covered (please NOTE in submission if tattoos). Please send video of competitive swimming activity if possible. ACTIONS - (in swim trunks/bathing suit) walk into frame - show how to get ready to begin swimming - show hand rubbing scar on stomach.
Mid 60’s, heart or lung transplant scar (note any latex allergies as this will be prosthetic) – birthday. DIRECTION For audition - lean into blow candles from cake. Show appreciation for another birthday. Show joy and moment of reflection. Hold blouse where scar might be. Give a few beats of pride for another birthday and acknowledge others in room. The moment should feel genuine and real.
Kidney transplant scar – father of bride For audition - CONTEXT - she saved father’s life in donating kidney. Getting ready for wedding. Sees daughter for first time before actual wedding. DIRECTION for audition: Show emotions based on context. Moment of reflection before seeing daughter, moment at consult in hospital with daughter (feeling of trust and safety) and moment at seeing daughter at wedding - overall feeling and demonstrating emotions of I’ve survived.
30 y/o, kidney transplant donor – bride For audition - CONTEXT - she saved father’s life in donating kidney. Getting ready for her wedding. Sees dad for first time before actual wedding. DIRECTION for audition: Show emotions based on context. Moment of reflection as she sees herself in mirror before seeing father, moment at consult in hospital with her father (feeling of trust and safety) and moment at seeing her father at wedding - Dad survived.
