About the project: Based on the 1980 film, 9 to 5: The Musical follows three female coworkers—Violet, Judy, and Doralee—who are pushed to their limits by their sexist and egotistical boss, Franklin Hart. With music and lyrics written by Dolly Parton, this comedic and empowering story celebrates friendship, courage, and revenge. Additional info: Rehearsals: TBD Tech Rehearsals: February 8–12 Performances: February 13, 14, 19, 20 at 7:30 PM February 15, 21, 22 at 2:30 PM Audition Requirements: Prepare a 30–45 second portion of a song using a karaoke track. Please download the track to your phone or tablet before arriving. After singing, you may be asked to read lines from a scene and/or sing vocal scales to assess your vocal range. If interested, please complete both steps before auditioning.
