Abby is smart, 21, and stuck caring for her dying mother. She resents her mother for drinking herself into liver failure, for cheating on her father, and for overall ruining her life. She fears life is passing her by, so she's planning something drastic. She dreams of being an author, wife, and mother. She's sassy, witty, brave, and unhappy. (5-12 days of filming)
Love incarnate. He shows up on Abby's doorstep to steer her in a more righteous direction. He quickly becomes a fun and amazing friend and father figure. He has an unexpected sense of humor, and isn't afraid to challenge Abby at every turn. (3-7 days of filming)
In years past, Viviana has always been the life of the party – beautiful, fun-loving, down for whatever. She met an amazing man in her early-twenties, and by her mid-thirties, she was thoroughly bored of him. She wrecked her marriage and her liver. Now all she wants is to earn her daughter's love and forgiveness before she dies. (1-2 days of filming)
