Sammie is a quiet, eerie, emotionally withdrawn young woman whose presence alone disturbs the air in a room. She does not speak much, but every movement, glance, and breath carries tension. Beneath her unsettling calm is a storm of trauma, rage, and psychological breakage that fuels her transformation into a relentless force in the story.
Todd is an everyday neighborhood guy whose life is falling apart—and he’s desperately trying to hide it. He’s friendly, talkative, and slightly awkward, but there’s always a flicker of fear behind his eyes. Todd loves to joke, overshare, and charm his way through uncomfortable situations, but beneath his humor is a man who’s slowly being drained—emotionally, physically, and literally—by his partner, Sammie.
