A suburban mom and wife who’s made that most of her identity. After being laid off from her dead-end federal job, she’s turned her attention to her baby boy, but she’s starting to realize he’s not a baby anymore, he’s grown past her parenting abilities. But it’s too late to do anything about it.
SUPPORTING. A former middle-class, unemployed stepfather trying to gain control of a struggling household. He clings to his traditional role as the man of the house and demands respect, but he’s starting to realize he’ll never get it, not from his wife, not from his stepson, and not from the America he feels abandoned by.
