Actor Needed for Short FIlm in NYC - Panhandle
Panhandle is a short film that will be written, directed and produced by Justin Cole. It will be shot in NYC, ideally Manhattan but maybe another borough based upon further consideration. Stylistically, this film will be inspired by Spike Lee's works. The lead role is a homeless man. Ideally, the actor for this role has a background in theater. If not, an actor that's capable of delivering a sweltering, compelling monologue like Denzel. Please make sure you share headshots and a reel if you're interested. This film will be low-budget and UNPAID, but all actors will be fed, get credit, a final copy of the film and get assistance with transportation costs.

Schizo, but kinda smart. Very witty and self-aware. He talks like a preacher, and kind of sounds like Denzel. Very powerful voice and excellent orator. He's a pawn in a greater game.
Tall and physically imposing, the security guard is a small role but very important nonetheless. He wears an all-black suit and looks handsome doing so. He's a yes man and has more brawns than brains.
Very whimsical. He's a paid actor, another pawn in a larger game. Looks like an ordinary middle-aged man with decent sense of fashion, dresses maturely.
This is the guy who's taking notes on the notepad. Not that different from Man #1.
