Acting Audition for Upcoming Short Film "Motel"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Looking for 2 actors for a student short film "Motel". More details are below. About the project: Plot: Trapped in a room with her obsessive captor, Amy must play along with Don's delusional fantasy of a romantic dinner while secretly plotting her escape. As the night unfolds, his illusion of love shatters into a violent struggle for survival. (psychological drama) Rate: It is non-union with little budget but directors will still offer compensation (will be discussed during audition). Directors will also offer food, transportation, and great material for you to put on your demo reel. Additional information: Location: Montreal, Quebec. Four day shoot (plus one day possible re-shoots) in December. Exact dates TBC. When applying, please submit a head shot, resume, and demo reel (if available).

Lead. A young woman in her twenties, emotionally worn out yet quietly resilient, Amy masks her terror with compliance as she searches for a chance to break free from her captor.
Lead. Charming on the surface but deeply unstable, Don sees himself as Kathy's savior and lover, his insecurity and delusion twisting into a possessive, dangerous obsession.
