About the project: Synopsis: Gracie has known her close friend Alfie and her boyfriend Harry her whole life. When a new girl comes into town, Harry’s temptation takes over and he cheats on Gracie, causing a domino effect of misfortune with long time friendships falling apart. Gracie’s health keeps getting worse and Alfie feels the need to take care of her. A whole high school full of students have to quickly discover themselves and make memories during the time they have left before college, and before someone loses their life. Additional info: Filming the first few episodes over the next months. Filming Locations: Albany, Corvallis, and Brownsville OR Warnings: This series features themes of smoking, drinking, drug use, suicide, assault, sex (implied), LGBTQ+ struggles, and in general has some depressing moments. It is rounded out with a strong cast of characters and I approach all of these themes as delicately as possible. The lead female of the series. Her mom was killed when she was a child, causing her to move from town and live with her grandparents for a while. Once she got into high school, she moved back to her old house alone and started fending for herself. She values education because she wants to have a sustainable future with a successful career. She has wildly vivid dreams and hallucinations and takes medication to get rid of them.
The lead male of the series. An average looking boy. After his brother was killed in a car accident, his mother is constantly comparing the two, wishing that Alfie could live a life similar to his brother’s. He’d been best friends with Gracie and Harry his whole life, but when Harry messes things up, his whole world is thrown off balance.
Gracie’s neighbor across the street. She’s a strong fiery girl who always tries to take control of any situation. She loves poking fun at her friends but she’ll defend them with her life if she has to.
A blonde high-school drop out with a mind in the gutter but a heart of gold. He cares too much about the people in his life, often taking a blind eye to their faults. He lives on the impulse and does whatever he feels is right.
An attractive guy who dropped out of high school to support his sister after his parents passed away. He used to be a really good friend, but lately he’s been the biggest jerk and can’t help but make mistakes because he loves the attention.
Liz’s cousin who moves to town for a few months while her parents are gone away. She has long blonde hair and seems like the perfect girl, causing everyone to fall for her. Despite this, she still remains kind hearted and sweet. When Liz’s friends start taking advantage of her, she starts to snap.
Alfie’s friend and one of the only people who actually does his homework. Jack was one of the earliest members of his friend group, but he quickly feels left out when he doesn’t participate in their immature activities.
A popular girl who used to be a part of the friend group until Harry dated and dumped her. She has a strong disdain for Gracie.
The richest boy at the school who Liz falls for, however, Billy might have ulterior motives.
Gracie’s teacher who pulls advances on her to improve her grades. When Gracie tells the principal, Mr. Morris uses his power to stay in the school.
The female principal of the school. Gracie goes to her when she gets assaulted by her teacher, but there’s only so much the principal can do.
She tries to be a good mother, but she has the habit of comparing Alfie to his brother Morty who died in an accident years ago.

A nice female teacher who works at the school. She wants the best for her students.
