TRAVIS TOLLYMale35-45 y.o.White / Caucasian

Age: Late 30s–early 40s Essence: An Air Force Officer, a father, a man stitched together by honor and ghosts. Physical notes: Strong jaw, calloused hands, presence of someone who’s seen war but still mows his own lawn. Character Description: Travis is both legend and loss… the echo that drives the story forward even from the grave. He planted a dogwood tree before he left for deployment, told his boy there’d be a sign someday. The story unfolds in the shadow of that promise.

JUNIPER'S DADMale35-50 y.o.White / Caucasian

Age: 40–50 Physical: Blue-collar, sunburned, worn hands. The kind of man who’s been awake since 4 a.m. for 20 years. Essence: A man fighting ghosts with a bottle. His love for Juniper is real, but it’s buried under guilt and exhaustion. In flashes, the audience glimpses who he was before life dulled the edges. Casting Type: Someone who carries fatigue in his eyes… quiet, unpredictable, capable of both tenderness and threat.

MRS. GILBERTFemale40-56 y.o.White / Caucasian

Age Range: 50s–60s Tone & Type: Rural Oklahoma mother figure, tough exterior, tender soul. Accent: Natural Oklahoma / Southern inflection encouraged. Essence: She’s the bus driver who knows every kid by name — the heartbeat of the neighborhood. In her brief scene, she becomes the first adult to physically shield Tucker from tragedy. The actress must evoke decades of routine and care — and in an instant, pure heartbreak.
