Performers and singers are required for the "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" theatre show. For other information, see the details listed below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Performances Feb 20,21,23,27,28, March 2,6,7 at The Utah Theatre in Logan, UT Rehearsals Mid Jan- Feb 19th -Please arrive 10 minutes before your assigned audition time. -Bring with you a complete audition form, a conflict list (all conflicts from Mid-Jan to Feb 19), and a current picture (nothing fancy required, just make sure it looks like you). -Please prepare 1 or 2 acting sides (attached below), AND one one-minute song in the style of the show. YOU MAY SING A SONG FROM A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE for your audition. -For Music Accompiant: Please upload a music file or youtube clip link when you sign up. NO personal devices will be accepted. Montague "Monty" NavarroMale18-56 y.o.All ethnicities

Vocal range: Bb4-Bb2 Handsome, clever, charismatic, vulnerable and endearing. Discovers he is in line to become the Earl of Highhurst, and intends to kill off the family that stands in his way. Ever the optimist, Monty nevertheless struggles as he seeks to join the D’Ysquith family whilst watching the woman he loves marries another. He perseveres with panache and strong physical comedy skills.

Vocal range: G4-Bb2 This actor plays all nine of the D’Ysquith family. All D’Ysquith family heirs are farces of British high society in the early 20th century. The actor in this role should have strong physical comedy skills and accent abilities that help differentiate the multiple characters. Must have stamina to carry the different characters throughout the show and make quick costume changes.

Phoebe D'YsquithFemale18-56 y.o.All ethnicities

Vocal range: B5- F#3 Monty’s cousin. Phoebe was raised high-class with idealistic fantasies of love. She foils Sibella in her interest in love over status and tries to find the true virtue in people. Though she is smart and earnest, she can also be naive. Must be a true soprano with a legit, possibly operatic sound.

Sibella HallwardFemale18-56 y.o.All ethnicities

Vocal range: A5- F#3 The girl Monty loves. Sibella has true affection for Monty but more so for social status. Sibella is smart, funny and stylish, and as far as relationships are concerned, she wants to have her cake and eat it too.

Miss ShingleFemale18-56 y.o.All ethnicities

Vocal range: E5- D#3 Monty’s unexpected visitor. Mysterious, Miss Shingle has an obvious sense of justice. She comes to tell Monty the secret of his D’Ysquith lineage with a pivotal song in Act 1 that sets up the story of the show.
