Logline: J.W., a wealthy & stubbornly independent retired investment banker, is unceremoniously uprooted from his comfortable New York mansion and thrust into a retirement home by his son & greedy daughter -in-law. This unexpected turn of events marks the beginning of a tumultuous chapter in his life. Within the walls of the retirement home, J.W. encounters familiar faces from his distant past – old friends who seem untouched by the passage of time they haven’t aged). As he reconnects, a sense of unease begins to creep in. An unsettling presence permeates within the retirement home. Adding to the growing tension, Hurricane Katrina looms large on the horizon, threatening to unleash its fury upon New Orleans. With the malevolent force closing in & the storm bearing down, J.W. & his rejuvenated crew must band together to confront the darkness that festers within the retirement home.
