Logline: J.W., a wealthy & stubbornly independent retired Wall Street investment banker, is unceremoniously uprooted from his comfortable New York mansion and thrust into a retirement home by his son & greedy daughter -in-law. This unexpected turn of events marks the beginning of a tumultuous chapter in his life. Within the walls of the retirement home, J.W. encounters familiar faces from his distant past – old friends who seem untouched by the passage of time they haven’t aged). As he reconnects, a sense of unease begins to creep in. With a malevolent force closing in, plus Hurricane Katrina barreling bearing down, J.W. & his rejuvenated crew must band together to confront the darkness that festers within the retirement home. 30s, tall dark-skinned/lanky. Keeps everyone on their toes & he’s jokester at the Dynasty (a prestigious club). Tends to get on Jonathan’s (sous chef at the club) last living nerve. Booker becomes anxious when facing certain situations, yet always prevails.
Early 20s, gothic/emo quiet & eerie. Doris is the taller half of this very odd set (the Flounder Sisters). The darker the clothes & makeup, the better for these two. They tend to quietly stare rather than engage verbally. Oh but when they do speak, it's in unison mixed with weird giggles.
