Performers Wanted for Interactive Murder Mystery Fun
Mooreland Productions is seeking dynamic performers for You Know the Old Slaying, an interactive murder mystery for the fall/spring in the DFW area. This is an on-going production, and you book the shows you are available for-not required to have availability for all. Actors must be confident, improv-ready, and comfortable engaging directly with audiences. Roles are versatile and gender-inclusive, requiring strong comedic timing, character work, and adaptability in non-traditional venues. Performances are ~90 mins with multiple endings, creating a unique experience each time. Payment is $50 per performance plus tips—think of it as a fun, paid hobby for performers who love theater, laughter, and audience interaction (not a full-time paycheck). A weekly rehearsal commitment is required once you are cast, however once you have performed in the shows, weekly rehearsals are not necessary as long as you are performing regularly. Rehearsals will be in Dallas and DeSoto.
