Seeking Cast for for "Greyscale" Staged Reading
Actors needed for "Greyscale" staged reading. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: Awarded “Best in Show” for playwriting at the Arkansas State Thespian Festival, Greyscale peers into the lives and anxiety of the Trumans, a seemingly perfect family on the outside. Molly, the mother, is a stay at home mom and has been since her daughter was born. Hank, the father, works a soul sucking office job. He managed to land it when he dropped out of High School. Annabeth, the daughter, is going through her senior year of high school. As the Trumans fight their own battles, Anxiety looms over each, manipulating and twisting their own words for “their benefit”, often making things out to be one way or the other. However, as the Trumans learn to navigate their own consciousness, they discover things aren’t all that black and white after all. Additional info: Greyscale will run as a staged reading. There will be three rehearsals: Saturday, August 16 (8am-5pm), Monday August 18 (6:30-9:30pm), and Thursday August 21 (6:30pm-9:30pm).
