4 roles

LETHIAFemale56-56 y.o.All ethnicities

Lethia is a woman in her late 70s, now in the final stages of dementia. For most of her life, she has carried the heavy burden of an unspoken secret — a deep, unresolved trauma she never allowed herself to confront. Instead, she buried it beneath decades of silence and alcohol, using both as shields against pain too difficult to face. Though she deeply loves her daughter, Hulda, Lethia unknowingly perpetuated the cycle of trauma she herself endured.

YOUNG LETHIAFemale35-49 y.o.All ethnicities

Young Lethia is a woman, who has spent most of her life bearing the weight of a secret too painful to name — a long-buried trauma she’s never dared to confront. In its place, she built a fragile armor of silence and alcohol, numbing the ache that threatened to consume her. But what has long protected her has also imprisoned her, leaving her disconnected from her truest self and the life she might have lived.

YOUNG HULDAFemale20-24 y.o.All ethnicities

Hulda is a young art student navigating college life while carrying the scars of a chaotic childhood ruled by her alcoholic mother. As she begins to form meaningful relationships and confront the world on her own terms, Hulda launches a fierce and unapologetic rebellion. In breaking away from her mother’s grip, she finds her voice, her strength, and the fierce inner warrior she was born to be.

SHANNONFemale40-54 y.o.All ethnicities

Shannon is a hospice nurse. Grounded, compassionate, and wise beyond her years, she carries the quiet authority that comes from standing regularly at the threshold between life and death. Through her work, Shannon has become both a witness to the final moments of her patients and a gentle guide for the families navigating the emotional terrain of grief, illness, and letting go. She meets people where they are — with grace, patience, and unwavering presence.
