Singing Audition for "Disney’s The Little Mermaid" Show
The company is holding auditions for "Disney’s The Little Mermaid" show and looking for performers, please see the details below Additional info: Performances: July 11 - 13, July 18 - 20, July 25 - 27 PREPARE: A song that shows range and acting ability, running around 1 minute. Directors ask that any auditionees come prepared with an accompaniment track. No self-accompaniment and no acapella. Please prepare a change of clothes that you are able to freely move in, as there will be a dance call. Callbacks may ask for actors to sing from the score. Sheet music will be provided. Scenes will be provided for on-book auditions. Not all actors being considered for roles will be required for the callbacks. These will take place on May 31st, immediately following the Saturday audition. Tech week begins Sunday, July 6th. Please bring any conflicts with rehearsal dates to the audition including vacations, commitments, or jobs schedules.

A mermaid and King Triton's youngest daughter. She is obsessed with everything about the human world, and dreams of becoming a part of life above the water. Hard Headed, naive, and emotional, but also kind hearted. Searching for a strong singer, with great physicality and nonverbal acting. Vocal range top: Gb5 Vocal range bottom: Ab3
A handsome, affable lad with a buoyant, adventurous nature. After Ariel saves his life, he becomes obsessed with finding her and hearing her voice once more. Vocal range top: G4 Vocal range bottom: B2
A crab and advisor to King Triton. A musical virtuoso who is constantly distraught from keeping after Ariel. Despite his paranoia, he can't bring himself to stand in Ariel's way. Looking for an actor with incredibly strong stage presence and high energy. Vocal range top: C5 Vocal range bottom: Bb2
A fish and smitten with Ariel, his best friend. Rambunctious but cautious, fearful of the dangers that lurk in and above the water. Directors would prefer to cast a child in this role, but any are free to audition. Vocal range top: G4 Vocal range bottom: A2

The banished Sea Witch and sister of King Triton. Supposedly spurned at childhood, she will use whatever method necessary to steal the kingdom and claim it as her own.
