Performers Needed for Theatre Audition "Stop Kiss"
Casting performers for the "Stop Kiss" show. See details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: After Callie meets Sara, the two unexpectedly fall in love. Their first kiss provokes a violent attack that transforms their lives in a way they could never anticipate. Part romance, part tragedy, and all drama, Stop Kiss by Diana Son explores tricky themes in the quest for self-discovery and self-acceptance. Rate: All actors will receive 2 comp tickets for the production. All actors who are offered a role in the show will be paid a non-union stipend. Additional info: The production is scheduled to open on Friday, August 8, 2025 and close on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin on Monday, June 30, 2025. Callbacks will take place on Monday, May 19 by invitation only from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM on the Playhouse Stage. Please prepare a monologue in the style of the character auditioning for; preferably from a play, around a minute long. The monologue can be either comedic or dramatic but it should be contemporary. It does not have to be memorized but should be prepared. To be considered, please apply.
