Theater Audition for "Pepperoni and Cheese" Play

About the play: Asad, a recent Pakistani immigrant to Canada, is struggling to settle in at school. When Asad’s mom informs him that he must finish school before returning home, Asad approaches his roommate, Marshall. Once Asad and Marshall move past the cross-cultural awkwardness, food, laughter, and secrets are shared. However, their nascent friendship takes a dramatic turn when Asad asks a girl out at a school party. The ensuing conflict exposes their cultural and personal differences challenging their newfound bond. Rate: The production will operate on a profit-share model. Additional information: Actors are encouraged to self-identify and apply to which roles align with their race/ethnicity.
