Actress must be over 18, but passable as mid-teens, (Gymnastics experience is a plus but not required.) 16-year-old Mabel is a thoughtful and introspective young. woman with strong convictions and a big heart. Beneath her determined and headstrong exterior, however, there is deep insecurity.
Diana is a struggling single mother doing just enough to get by, focused on keeping her head above waterand providing for her daughter. She loves fiercely but can sometimes be too guarded in amisguided effort to protect the ones she loves.
Chase is a part-time gymnastics coach who has a somewhat stalled life. Despite this, he is sarcastic and charming, quick with a joke, and good at manipulating people to get what he wants.
