About the project: A young woman working at a lake resort in Southern Oregon faces the unsettling reality of being sexualized for the first time, forcing her to confront her autonomy and innocence in a world that wants to define her. Rate: This is an unpaid student film project. All meals and lodging during the shoot will be provided. Local actors will either receive a transportation stipend (if applicable) or have transportation provided, depending on their location. Final cut footage will be provided for use in video reels. (Lead.) Plays 15, must be 16 years or older. Charm is staying with her grandfather for the summer in the small town of Klamath Falls, Oregon. She dreams of a carefree summer, but instead finds herself working at a camp resort. While she enjoys the quiet stillness of nature, which brings her peace, she struggles to connect with her peers. Introverted by nature, she would rather retreat to her room and spend time with animals than interact with people.
(Supporting.) Plays 14-15, must be 16 years or older. A charming yet enigmatic young boy, beginning to navigate his way in conversations with girls. Despite his youthful awkwardness, there’s an underlying intensity to him, a quiet power that makes him intimidating and an instigator of sorts.
(Supporting) Plays 14-15, must be 16 years or older. A follower by nature, he often defers to his friends’ decisions. He loves having fun and goofing around.
(Supporting.) A traditional cowgirl at heart, Suzie is a manager at the camp resort. Though strict and no-nonsense, she has a warm heart and is deeply passionate about her work
