"Funny Money" Stage Play in Need of Men and Women
Casting call for "Funny Money" play. Actors needed. See the details below. Additional info: SPECIAL NOTES FOR AUDITIONERS: A light British is used, and Henry will have a more pronounced accent (especially in the very beginning). A passerby (large man) will speak Dutch (in the script). Actors must be available for ALL performances and entire TECH WEEK of rehearsals. Please be prepared to list ALL potential conflicts for the rehearsal period (June- August). If additional conflicts are disclosed after offer of a role is made, that offer may be rescinded. Bring a resume and headshot to audition. You will asked to complete an intake form when you arrive. List any/all roles you are interested in. Sides will be provided. Callbacks: Saturday, May 17th 2:00-5:00 PM. The show runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm (Call time 7pm), Sundays at 2pm (Call time 1pm), September 5th through September 21st. Middle -aged. London Taxi driver full of spirit.
Middle aged man. With a knowing glint in his eye. Very clever.
A buxom and cheerful woman- full of energy.
A brash man with feet of clay.
Middle age. A solicitous and kindly soul- until provoked. Very well dressed.
Large man. Speaks Dutch wants his briefcase back(has been hit by a taxi) and comes in with a gun.
