Performers Needed for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking performers for production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream". More details are below. About the play: Synopsis: Four young Athenians run away into the woods to pursue the objects of their respective affections away from the strict rule of Duke Theseus’s court. There, they are subject to a trick by Robin Goodfellow (Puck), the minion of the fairy king Oberon, which results in further conflict and confusion within the love quadrangle. Puck’s trickery extends to the fairy queen Titania, who falls in love with the amateur actor Bottom after he undergoes a transformation that gives him the head of a donkey. Under Oberon’s orders, Puck restores the relationships to harmony and frees Titania from the spell, leading to her and Oberon’s reconciliation. At the Duke’s wedding feast, Bottom and his troupe perform their play to the amusement of all. Additional information: Callbacks will take place from 12-5PM on Sunday, May 4th.
